Word limit
350 words, not counting the title and author details.
Structure
Use the four required headings: Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
Data required
Abstracts without data will not be considered.
Reviews
Meta-analyses and systematic reviews will be given priority over scoping and umbrella reviews.
No graphics
No graphics, images or tables.
SIG alignment
Choose the Special Interest Group closest to your work. It is used to assign expert reviewers and does not decide where your abstract is placed in the program.

Submission limit
Each presenting author may submit up to two items in total: either 1 abstract and 1 symposium presentation, or 2 abstracts. Late-breaking abstracts count toward this limit. Chair and Discussant roles, workshops, satellite meetings and Dare2Share sessions do not.
Registration required
Presenting authors must register for and attend the Annual Meeting.
Decisions and program placement
Decision emails go to the submitting author. Information on program placement goes to the presenting author.
Key dates
Submission deadline: November 18, 2026
Decisions sent to submitting authors: Mid-February 2027
Deadline for changes and withdrawals: March 24, 2027
Presenter registration and payment deadline: April 30, 2027
If the presenting author has not registered and paid by April 30, 2027, the abstract will be removed from the program and will not be assigned a poster board.
