Ready to share your research? Abstract and symposia submissions for ISBNPA 2027 are now open.
Symposia submissions are open!
We are delighted to announce that symposia submissions for the ISBNPA 2027 Annual Meeting in Halifax, Canada (June 16–19, 2027) are now open. Submissions close on November 18, 2026, and decisions will be communicated by mid-February 2027. We look forward to receiving your contributions.
Overview
Submission window: September 28 to November 18, 2026.
We invite innovative research submissions in behavioral nutrition, physical activity, sedentary behavior, and sleep. Symposia bring together complementary presentations that provide an integrated perspective on an important scientific question or emerging area of broad interest to the ISBNPA community. Symposia are typically scheduled for 75 minutes.
What’s new for 2027?
- One proposal submitted by the symposium Chair. The Chair prepares and submits a single proposal containing the overall session description and up to three individual presentations. The Chair may serve as Discussant or invite someone else, and may also present.
- A cohesive symposium, backed by data. Proposals must have an integrated, coherent theme, and each presentation must report relevant data with results from multiple studies. Proposals based solely on planned or unfinished work, or on single studies, are not eligible.
Each presenting author is limited to two submissions in total: a maximum of 1 regular abstract and 1 presentation within a symposium, or a maximum of 2 regular abstracts. Roles as Chair or Discussant do not count toward this limit. Decisions will be sent to the Chair by mid-February 2027.
Please consult the full ISBNPA 2027 Symposia Submission Guidelines (PDF) for details on symposium types, proposal format, submission steps, and Special Interest Groups.
