Presenter Guidelines

To ensure that the technical aspects of the session run smoothly, all presentations should be prepared according to the guidelines below. It is essential that:

  • correct format is used: Format: PowerPoint (.pptx), PDFs can also be accepted. Please see under “Technical details” below.
  • The presentation is uploaded on time either through the pre-upload platform or at the Speaker Service Centre onsite. Please see details of the process below.

Before the Congress, please make sure to familiarize yourself with the program/structure of the session within which your presentation has been included. An up-to-date scientific program, including the dates and times of presentations, can be found here: make sure to take note of both your presentation time and – if applicable – the discussion time scheduled within the session.

How to prepare my Presentation

We recommend using the official ISBNPA presentation template.

The template includes the following disclosure slides, which presenters are encouraged to use:

Conflict of Interest (CoI) Disclosure Slide

AI Use Disclosure Slide

Carbon Emission Disclosure Slide

Please use Microsoft PowerPoint (*.pptx or ppt). Adobe PDF presentations would be accepted as well. If you use MS PowerPoint we recommend that you save your PowerPoint presentation using only .pptx-format.

All presentations will be presented in widescreen, 16:9 format.

Use of high contrast lettering and fonts, minimum size of 32p, high contrast layouts like light text on dark colors. Only fonts which are included in the basic installation of MS-Windows 11 will be available (English version of Windows). Use of other fonts not included in Windows can cause the wrong layout / style of your presentation.

We recommend you make your slides as concise as possible by keeping texts short and avoiding too many bullet points.

Save the picture you want to use as a JPG or PNG, set compression/quality to medium or high. Please embed all pictures in your PowerPoint presentation.

Movies should always embedded in your PowerPoint presentation. MP4 videos usually work best with PowerPoint.

Save the pictures/videos used in your presentation separately on USB memory stick. In case of problems, we can re-insert the original items.

Be careful to respect all author’s rights and to exclude data and/or graphic images which could reveal the patient’s identity without specific consent.

It is mandatory to test your presentation with the on-site PC in the Speaker Service Center several hours before your talk.

If you wish to access online content via a URL, please ensure the link is embedded directly within your PowerPoint presentation.

How to upload my Presentation

  • available until Monday, May 25, 2026. – 12 AM CET

Simply follow the steps described in the upload platform to successfully submit the presentation files.

The submitted files will be transferred to the session rooms and will then be available for playback.

IMPORTANT: Files can only be submitted for one presentation at a time. If you are uploading presentation files for multiple talks, please use the platform multiple times.

For any questions regarding the upload process, please contact support@speechcon.net.

This needs to be done at least two hours before the start of your session*. Please note the opening times of the Speaker Service Center below.

*If you are uploading your PPT onsite, please prepare and save your presentation on a USB memory stick, and as a backup, a second portable medium, and bring these with you to the Speaker Service Center Onsite. We recommend that you label these materials with your name, session name, session date and presentation name.

Please note that on-site, presentation files can only be submitted at the Speaker Service Center. The upload portal will then no longer be available.

Submitted / pre-uploaded files can still be reviewed and exchanged at the Speaker Center on site.

The Speaker Service Center is located on the first floor (visible signage will be there to direct you).

Apart from the .pptx upload, the Speaker Service Center offers the opportunity to:

  • Inform the scientific team staff member of any changes in your session
  • Review and make last-minute changes to your presentation
  • Consult with the technical staff on site
