ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Submission Guidelines Overview

Submissions are open from September 19 to November 12, 2025.

Please note: each presenting author may submit a maximum of two abstracts in total (either one regular + one symposium abstract, or two regular abstracts).

Regular Abstract Submission

  • An individual abstract submitted for consideration for oral, short-oral, or poster presentations.
  • Word limit: 350 words (excluding title and author details)
  • Structured format: Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusions
  • Review criteria: innovation/originality, quality of design, measures, and analysis
  • Accepted abstracts may be allocated as oral, short-oral, or poster presentations depending on review outcome

Symposium Abstract Submission

  • An individual abstract submitted in coordination with a symposium chair/submitter, intended to form part of a regular or a debate symposium.
  • Submitted separately in the system as part of a symposium proposal
  • Generates an Abstract ID (e.g., SYM-ISBNPA-2026-00025) which must be forwarded to the symposium chair/submitter
  • Word limit: 350 words; same structured format as regular abstracts

Regular Symposium Submission

  • Includes the symposium title and description, details of the symposium chair and discussant, Abstract IDs and presenter information for 2 to 3 associated individual symposium abstracts.
  • Chair submits overall symposium proposal (400 words, excluding title/authors)
  • Proposal must include: purpose, rationale, objectives, summary, format
  • At least 15 minutes should be reserved for audience discussion

Debate Symposium Submission

  • Includes the debate symposium title and description, details of the symposium chair and discussant, Abstract IDs and presenter information for the 2 associated individual symposium abstracts presenting opposing views or ideas on the debate topic.
  • Same structure as regular symposium submission (400 words max)
  • Session consists of two opposing presentations, plus moderated discussion
