Registration fees will be covered for up to 10 students and 5 early career researchers. Deadline for submissions April 24th.
NZ Tertiary institutions should manage their own internal selection processes and put forward the names of up to 1-2 students and up to 1 Early Career Researcher. Please send your nominations to annualmeeting[at]isbnpa.org with the subject “NZSFCT Scholarship” and listing the full name, email address and the category of nominations (i.e. student OR early career). If you are putting forward two student nominations, please list them in preference order. The selection committee are asking Tertiary institutes to ensure their nominees meet the selection criteria, but may subsequently ask for supporting information.
Recipients must meet the following criteria:
- Currently residing in NZ
- Currently employed or studying at a NZ-based organisation or tertiary institute
- Demonstrated need for additional funding to attend the conference (i.e. shortfall of funding available from host organisation or tertiary institute)
- Postgraduate Research Student in a field directly related to physical activity (i.e. up to 10 people enrolled in a PhD or Masters by research degree programme)
- Early Career Researcher in a field directly related to physical activity (i.e. up to 5 people employed in the first 7 years of a research career at a tertiary institute or within physical activity promotion organisation, such as a Regional Sports Trust or the National Heart Foundation).
